This is one of the most stunning looking Austin Healey 3000 Mark II BT7ís you will ever find on todayís market. This classic car has gone through an extensive mechanical restoration including performance enhancements and an interior restoration, seats and carpets, up to concourse quality standards with materials from well-known Heritage Upholstery & Trim.

Performance upgrades include 84mm Omega forged pistons, upgraded cam, tubular exhaust headers and a lightened flywheel. The front suspension was also rebuilt.

The paint is in beautiful condition following a bare metal repaint in 1994 with available photo documentation.

A new reproduction soft top, side curtains, and top bows are included. There is also a new hardtop from Smooth Line that has not yet been fitted to the car.

Over US$50,000 were spent over the last two years to restore this beauty to its current state. All the receipts are available along with dozens of photos as the restoration work progressed. The tires are in new condition.

There is a comprehensive documentation of the ownership history including the original invoice, the warranty from Austin, the production card, the correspondence between the dealer and the original owner and finally, the copies of the titles for each of the three registered owners.

This is a unique opportunity to own a thoroughly sorted Austin Healey 3000 Mark II BT7 which is ready to be driven and enjoyed. 2k miles were driven since the restoration was completed, long enough to sort out any problems and fresh enough to enjoy this classic car for years to come.

This car is a real head turner and ready to win local/regional level shows with overall quality just a bit below the level of a high end concours car.

The Austin-Healey 3000 was a sports car built from 1959 to 1967, by Jensen Motors for the Austin-Healey marque. It was a successful car which won its class in many European rallies and is still used in competition by enthusiasts today. It is probably the most well known of the 'Big Healey' models. They achieved notable successes in competition; particularly at Le Mans, and in the Mille Miglia and RAC Rallies, at the hands of great racing drivers such as Stirling Moss.

Austin-Healey was a British sports car maker. The marque was established through a joint venture arrangement, set up in 1952 between Leonard Lord of the Austin division of the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and Donald Healey, a renowned automotive engineer and designer.

The 3000 Mk II was built from 1961 to 1963. It had three model variants:

- The BT7: a 4 seater version with 3 SU carburetors
- The BN7 : a 2 seat roadster with 3 carburetors.
- The BJ7 (from 1962): it had wind up windows instead of side curtains, a curved windscreen and 2 carburetors only.

In 1961, a 3000 MkII BT7 with a hardtop and overdrive tested by reached a top speed of 112.9 mph (181.7 km/h) during a test by Britainís "The Motor" magazine.
